Hello, my name is Delores Goudy. Welcome to Boundless Library Instruction. This blog is designed to provide reference materials and provide a portfolio from the participation in the LIS 491 Library Instruction course that I am taking at The University of Southern Mississippi. This blog will cover the topics of Teaching Effectiveness, Instruction Needs Assessment, Visual and Media Literacy, Library Usage Styles, Theory of Active Learning and Critical Thinking, Training, Tutorial, and Teaching Technologies, Evaluation and Assessment, and Web 2.0. These blog materials will be produced with the guidance of Dr. Stacy Creel, my instructor, and the resources and tools usage for this course.

I have chosen this course to supplement the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Degree that I am pursuing from the University of Southern Mississippi. For that degree, I have chosen concentrations of Business, Family Studies, and Applications of Teaching. As a result of those studies I have produced a collection of materials that I would like to increase by applying a basic knowledge of Economic Development and Library Information Science.
